I didn't realize the variety of roles he'd done. Sorry he passed away. But, frankly, it's not the #1 news story and deserved no more than a blurb. I'm disgusted that CNN, the NY Times and other reputable sources felt the need to make this a cover story.

I feel differently. He was such a respected actor, stayed out of the limelight as much as he could, tried to live a normal life, that I feel he set a good example. Well, except for the drugs. Any way you look at it, very sad.
