Google Hiring In Austin
Google has opened an office here, but I don't know anyone that's actually seen it. They are hiring and, at first, they said it was only engineering jobs they were trying to fill here. Here's the open job titles for Austin:
• Account Manager, Tech Commerce Vertical - Austin
• Enterprise Inside Sales Representative - Austin
• Enterprise Lead Generation Associate - Austin
• Senior Account Executive, Tech Commerce Vertical - Austin
That doesn't sound like just engineering geeks they are looking for.

ummm, that's because you're looking in the wrong section. look in the engineering section for engineering jobs ;-)
that said, there's only one posting there, and it's for a software engineer. so, although you were in the wrong section in the first place, your point still stands.
