Tech People, Help Me Out
Ok, so that stupid video "Charlie Bit Me" makes me laugh. I wonder if I could download the audio part and make, "Charlie bit me and it's still hurting" my ringtone? Can someone figure that out just for fun?

Download the trial version of Replay Music, which does the best job (of all the things I've found) of recording streaming audio. Then download Audacity, which is totally free, and use it to cut out the part of the song you want as a ring tone.
It's a little bit more complicated than that, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.
Oh, and Lifehacker has a tutorial on it. Email me if you really want to do it and I'll see if I can explain it better.

No, Daniel, I didn't get it. I am still trying to decipher Courtney's comment. I do have "audacity" and I've seen a video on how to download a YouTube video to your hard drive, but I am working on capturing the audio. If you can get it that would be awesome.
