American Airlines Trouble

American Airlines continued to cancel flights today and will continue to cancel flights through Friday at least. The fleet of MD-80's is the root and the FAA is requiring inspections. American was already in financial troubles and this certainly is not going to help.

It is hard to feel sorry for them. The customer service is laughable and the old janky MD 80's are brutal.

If I were traveling this week and stuck somewhere I would be so bitter. Thankfully, my next business trip isn't until the 21st and I'm hoping it's all settled by then. But, I will rethink my loyalty to one carrier just for the miles.
