When I first read the headline that PG&E had donated $250,000 to defeat the anti-gay marriage measure in California I thought they had donated to the anti-gay folks. I guess I'm just used to hearing about who is jumping on the anti-gay bandwagon. But, this time it was PG&E, AT&T and Wells Fargo all donating to defeat the attempts to ban gay marriage in the California Assembly.
I'm glad to see companies coming out from the sidelines and saying, "We have gay employees and we value them and we're already providing domestic partner benefits so just quit this whole anti-gay bullshit and move on."
Well, that's what I would say if I were them. (via Towleroad)

I think it's great that companies are realizing that if they support the anti-gay marriage folks, they will lose quality talent along with lifelong customers.
