There's always a silver lining...

So, here we are in the third hottest summer on record. Day 45 of 100 or above temperatures. My neighbors moved here from California. Like thousands before them they have invaded Austin and helped drive real estate values through the roof. When I saw them outside today they looked shell-shocked.

They are miserable in this heat and considering moving back to California. They said, "It is so hot! We can't stand being outside." I told them we were probably through the worst of it and to cheer up...by October it will surely only be in the 90's. (Cue evil music here) MOVE....leave... and take your hyper-inflated real estate prices with you! Bwahahahahahahahaha

Eh. What'd you expect...It's f'ing hot. Let me just have this.

Austin needs to get over its hatred of Califronians. It's those Silicon Valley people that made the city anything more than a college and state employee town that would be an also ran to Dallas, Houston and SA. You should especially approve of what they've brought Charlie - good shopping, loft style apts and the removal of your hippie loving people from areas you like to hang out in.
